Title: Last nights Storm Damage
Post by: mrs bouquet on December 15, 2019, 12:30
New people move up here, on top of the Downs, and really have little idea how fierce it can be up here.
A new neighbour across the lane, has recently had two new fence panels put up at the side of her house.  I think she is waiting for the chap to re-appear and put the trellis on the top.     He won't be doing that yet !!!!
I watched him putting them up, and thought,  no Chance.     Today they are both lying in broken shreds, completely broken up.
I never know whether to be a good neighbour and warn people about our weather, or whether to be a good neighbour and keep quiet and say nothing !!!
Have you received much storm damage recently  ?      Mrs Bouquet

Well we had a chase the waste bins last week but managed to keep them in order and not let the contents up and down the street. But it was close. Very active wheelie bins can be given a good wind.

More storms are coming, I hope everyone will be okay. Tuck in and walk/drive safe everyone.
