Woo hoo! Mostly because, after many cloudy days, today remained clear......but still, beginning to notice longer hours of daylight is always a bonus  :D

Yes, time to put back the time my lights come on automatically - a much more pleasant job than when I'm bringing the time forward. Really glad of the extra light today when I realised my wedding ring was missing around 4pm  :( Made a rapid return to the plot and was mightily relieved to spot it on the path where I'd stopped for a natter on the way out  :D

Noticed a bit ago that it was getting lighter. By now it would be about an hour lighter than the 21st of December

I was on my allotment today until 5:15pm. I could just about see what I was doing!  ;)
- namely backfilling a trench alongside the polytunnel I was putting up.

Yesterdays daylength was 8hrs 19m, compared to 7hr 39 on Dec 21st, an increase of 40 minutes.
Over the next 4 weeks it will lengthen by a further 1hr 36m, so we'll really notice it then!
Bring it on!!
