What sort of grandad are you planning to be? One who lets them know that when they visit you they have to behave ..or.. one that gets his hat and wellies on so he can jump in puddles to remind him of his childhood?

How wonderful! That’s a great Christmas present. As Wighty says, get ready for bedlam. I’ve got 8 attending on Thursday along with three and half sets of parents. But I will enjoy every noisy minute.

We have 3 grandsons - arriving at ours tomorrow - and a little girl arriving in March :D

To answer a few questions in one: First time, 5th June, not sure what type I'll be, it will have to be on the job training. As our daughter only live a few miles away, I guess we'll be a free baby-sitting service!

Great news - all the joys of parenthood and you give them back when they play up... after stuffing them with sweets so they're really hyper!!! It's called revenge  :D :D :D

You got there first John. Thing is our children teach us all the good and bad without giving a thought to what we might teach the grandchildren.  ;)

5th June AS. Daughter told us the news in a novel way. We were having Christmas Eve dinner and were given a Grandparents Christmas card with a scan photo inside. It took us a few minutes to cotton on.
