State pension applied for a bit ago so that should be coming in due course. We could have got a bus pass some years ago in Wales but haven't. It's very strange not having to earn a living - not sure how I feel about it.
One way to feel good about it, is to get your pension paid in weekly, as it makes you very happy at least one day a week!
We have it done on Mondays, as I do the weekly accounts first thing in the morning then, and it sort of sets the scene for the next few days, (as long as there aren't any 'nasties', like a rogue Amazon Prime payment or similar...)!
