Post by: ladyrose on October 25, 2012, 21:50
I thought i would bye myself some nice smoked bacon i was told it was traditionaly smoked so i thought why not lovely for breakfast so i put it in the pan no oil and waited for the sizzle but no it was not to be i had to call out the life boat to save my egg from drowing in the water that came out of that smoked bacon, so i have decided to buy my self a smoker and smoke my own bacon with diffrent types of wood like Apple Cherry and oak and do the farmers markets any body else doing any smoking of bacon

Not yet. Still in the stages of reading a recently aquired book on home smoking and looking into the home smoker units.

THis along with making booze is on the list for trying next year.

Must try and squeeze a few more hours into the day.
