Title: food and water for bed???

as a vigin chicken keeping i was wondering to they have to go to bed with food and water?????

Mine will eat and drink just before they go to bed, and again first thing in the morning.  But they do not need to have food and water in their coop overnight.

thankyou, theres not that much room for my 2 6 week chicks to move about when i squeze there water and food in to and they make a mess with it xx once thewy are big enough to go in the big coop with my 4 11 week old chickens then there is plaenty room xxx
