It all looks really lovely, vegmandan  :D
My biggest cropper is runner beans, half a carrier bag full a day. Oh and dandelions not doing bad, either :(

I've also had more runner beans than I know what to do with - been giving them to neighbours and friends. They were quite nice stirfried with tons of garlic and spinach, over basmati rice with a whole lot of good greek feta on top though...

If you can call a glut of 'green' tomatoes a glut....

Too much lettuce at the moment.

This is our first year of growing our own. I have to say we are disappearing under a mountain of courgettes. I got John's book after I'd decided how many plants to leave in so it is small wonder that we are now eating courgettes with every meal. There are 8 of us in the family so I guess 4 plants would be advisable for next year!
Funnily enough, some friends have started growing this year too and from their 2 plants have loads. They were so thrilled with the results they gave me some. I was just too nice to say no.....interesting reaction from the family when I brought them home :)
Maybe the Isle of Wight is the place for courgettes this year...must say I love the smug feeling when I don't have to buy them in Morrisons-especially as their stock looks far inferior to what we've grown!

Yes glut time here too!.  Sick of runner beans and cabbage.
Like Mr Tomato head I take excess to church as I know 4 or 5 people who live on their own, with not much spare cash,  so cut large cabbage in good wedges, add beans (previously peas) and some beetroot (for those who like it. Lettuce or salad bar leaves when available. However, DID NOT give away any raspberries, have frozen so I can make more jam when needed!
Only problem is I'm running out of plastic bags
