Title: onions from seed

hi  as you can gather i am new to the allotment world and i have been given some Elista onions seeds and i was wondering when the best time start sowing them for next year
any help would be apreciated.

Agreed.  They are a summer bulbing variety.  Picking in the autumn usually.  Torpedo shaped  yay. ???
