the guy on the plot next to us always puts some in inthe middle of february but he covers them with clear polythene.

ohh and i bought some tomato and chilli plug plants from the garden centre 12 for £5

crikey!  those GS's must be cashing it in during spring - Out of approx 30 'Carnival Mix' peppers and 20 trailing cherry tom seeds I got about 99% germination and they were free from a magazine!!

GS's ? what doeas that mean?

Anyway, I planted my raspberries and loganberries and strawberries today and I moved my rhubarb from the back garden up to the plot. I only split it last year but it grew well and the crowns where at least twice the size!

Next week I think I will plant my onion sets and Broad Beans, weather permitting!

Does anyone know if its safe to move my blackcurrents at this time of year?
