Just managed to get hold of a Flymo DM which appears to be running fine. However, I dont know its history and wanted to get it into tip top condition.

1. there is a grease nipple on the gearbox/chain box. What oil/grease is required? I have checked all the available online manuals and cannot seem to find this.

2. I am looking to order a carb diaphragm as although it seems to run okay it could be really old. What is the best way to replace these? Do you remove the exhaust to gain access to the screws? Also, is is just a case of removing the old one and putting the new one in? I noticed the one I am ordering doesnt come with the spring. Is this a big deal?

Looking forward to trying it out over the plot. I also have another version of these with a diabolical Suffolk Punch engine but the 3hp B&S looks so much better.
