like andy I have put them in the g/house with the toms, peppers and cucumbers. Same as last year. They love loads of water & feed. Mine are about 6" tall and now they are in the ground they seem to be growing faster.

I'm growing aubergines for the first time this year.  The variety is Mohican which are supposed to produce an abundance of small white fruits (although I have no idea how small is small).   I have two plants in small tubs in the greenhouse which are about 10 in high at the moment and nice and bushy looking.   But it's all a bit of an experiment.

You got one more than I did from 4 plants richy!  I think though that planting outside in east yorks is probably not the best environment for them!  I am going to clean and repair the grotty greenhouse I inherited with the house soon and then next year try some in there.

I had problems last year so only 4 plants,2 bought as seedlings from a garden centre ,reluctantly but a good investment in the end.I`ve done well with peppers and aubergines this year but have had a lot of other germination failures this year.

I got heated propogaters to sort the cold weather probs of last year out and I also moved all seed storage to a nice cool place(after years of forgetting and leaving them in the greenhouse cooking nicley)and am rewarded with good germination from abused seeds and crumby germination from mainly new seeds.Dug up sweetpeas today from roottrainers after only 6 grew and all but 3 others had gone mouldy or disappeared.
