We seem to have a glut of Chillies coming up, anyone have ideas of preserving these, also can I dry out the seeds and use them?

String them on a ristra, looks good in the kitchen. You can save seeds for planting next year, but if your chillis are an F1 variety, you will have unpredicatable progeny.

Hang 'em up in strings and call your house the Hasienda!    :D     A thin twine threaded through the stalk using a large darning needle.    ::)    Cheers,    Tony.

I'm drying cayennes and am going to grind them for pepper

I'll freeze some

I have a dryer so will dry most of them and store them in jars. They keep very well once properly dried

I'm eating chilli with every meal just about  :)
