Nitrogen Cauliflower Defficiency
« on: June 29, 2013, 11:41 »
Hi All

What can I do to solve the nitrogen (yellow bottom leaves) problem in my first year of growing lovely caulis?
Will a feed of FBB sort it out or something abit more specialist??

Thanks
Mattie

Nitrogen deficiency usually becomes apparent in new growth rather than older leaves so I don't think that is the problem.  It is not unusual for the first old leaves to go yellow especially if some sucking bug like whitefly have been at them - nip off the old leaves (once yellow, they will simply just die and rot on the plant so no point salvaging) and have a look see for any bug infestation.
