Hi y'all
We have two cats and 11 chickens, 16 guinea fowl and 9 ducks. The only time the cats and poutry disagree is if I feed a bit of meat to one of the cats and a chicken tries to pinch it! Then there is a bit of hissing but the chicken usually wins!

We have to feed the cats after the chickens have gone to bed or they will eat the cats' food, often from under the cats' noses!

Left over Chinese takeaway is relished by all and they usually enjoy a meal side by side with no arguing.

I put this down to having the birds before the cats. When the kittens first arrived they tried to go after the guinea fowl but were so frightened by the enormous row and much leaping in the air that the guinea fowl did, that the cats rushed up the nearest tree and sat there shaking for some time. The birds have been top of the pecking order ever since!
