Post by: wyandotty on February 12, 2010, 20:38
I have got to buy some earlies and thought I would try a different variety this year.

Any suggestions for a nice tasty early potato?

Try 'Swift'.  They are ready in 6 weeks and taste great. I grew mine in big buckets by the back wall of the house so they got topped up easily and watered regularly!

Hi,
We grew a few varieties last year, the ones which stood out in flavour were not a first but the second / salad potato  Charlotte.
