lemon tree advice

i know its not really a usual allotment plant  :) (maybe in the next few years if what tey say about global warming is true) but maybe someone mght have kept them.

but, i've got a small lemon tree in a pot in front garden and its got loads of small green lemons on it about the size of a pea, some a bit bigger, there is loads and obviously they won't all mature into lemons, so i just wondered if i should leave it alone, or remove all but half a dozen or so, leaving just the bigger ones so the plant can put all its effort into ripening these few.

i must try to remember to start feeding it too, i bought some citrus feed but keep forgetting to use it!

If it's outdoors, the wind will encourage a few undeveloped fruits to fall.  IME, the tree will only keep as many fruit as it can support to maturity.

yes sally, i have been bringing it in the greenhouse as soon as the nights/mornings get a bit too chilly.

i reckon i'll just leave it then.
