day 21.. but nothing happened sofar?

day 21.. but nothing happened sofar?

Hey...

So its day 21 of my eggs being in the incubator.. but sofar nothing has happened, no cracks or anything..

howlong do i wait before turning it off? or taking a peak inside the eggs?

Don't be tempted to open that incubator or you will decrease the level of humidity.  Sit on your hands if necessary.   ;)

Don't forget that the first day counts as day 0, so they might not start hatching till tomorrow.  Be patient.

Sometimes they can be a few days late hatching. Just keep watching and not touching! It's so hard I know :)

21 days is just a guideline.  I have had some hatch on day 26.  As Kegs says sit on your hands and give it a few more days.  Good luck and keep us posted  :)

Very tempting to intervene as hatching is such an effort for the chicks; however I would wait until they are out and dry/fluffy then move them to a broody box or under an electric hen.
