I'm no expert but I'd suggest you've got a prolapsed chicken.  Have a search on Google or await expert replies.

Yep think your right WG sounds like prolapse to me, unsure of the treatment   but I assume it's like cows etc and they push it back in !! , usually caused I believe by over weight hens esp in younger hens.

Isolate from your other hens before they decide to peck it !

Yes, definitely a prolapse.  As Richy said - isolate her !

Wearing a disposable rubber glove, dip your little finger in Vaseline (or other lubricant    ) and gently push the prolapse back in.  Keep her in the dark (subdued lighting) to discourage egg laying and hopefully it may remain in place.  If it prolapses again a vet can put a stitch in to keep it in place, she will need to be kept in low light conditions as I said to discourage egg laying.

I thought it was a prolapse, seperated her immediatly when i seen it, as others were trying to peck at her, if it gets pushed back in what are the chances of it happening again :?:   i dont think she is overweight but she did pass a very large egg this morning

It may well happen again....   But it might not.

It was probably caused by the very large egg as you say she is not overweight.  It may have done some permanent damage, time will tell.  Did you manage to reduce the prolapse as I suggested ?  You could also try hemorrhoid cream.
