Im new to poultry keeping and have had lots of questions and have had alot already answered BUT ........ do or can you leave feed in the coop overnight ?

Hi. You can do....it all depends on what your set-up is. We put food in with the turkeys at night only because there is'nt anywhere we can put it in case it rains overnight. They will be ok without til' next morning. :)

I don't,as they make a mess in the coop,& as long as you let them out at a decent time for their brekkie,& don't put them away too early in the evening,they won't miss it.It's personal choice I suppose.

my persona preferance is to feed at all times although how much i feed is down to the time of year for mine. :lol:
