Title: cleaning fluids

hi, i am new to keeping chickens, and i was wondering if somebody could tell me the right disinfectant of cleaning fluid is right for cleaning out my chicken shed,  many thanks :wacko:

When the weather is better I use poultry shield which not only cleans but also eradicates red mite, in the winter and when it's wet I use Stalosan F which is a powdered disinfectant. Some people also use Jeyes and there is another one called Vanodine which is good and very good for cleaning your feeders and drinkers.

I agree with Joyfull...Poultry Sheild is great for keeping a healthy henhouse environment. It lasts for ages as you don't need much. I use it each time I clean, around twice a week, whatever the weather but like it best when I can give the place an air in the sunshine as well!  I wish...!
