You lucky people! We've got showers though and the ground needs them so mustn't grumble.

Mostly warm and sunny, 20C - we've had the occasional short cloudy spell pass over, but no rain at all, so far.

Warm and bright again. Some dark clouds and thunder passed over earlier but barely a drop of rain

Sorry for a second post but I was just a third of the way through watering the plot this evening when the heavens opened good and proper! Thunder, lightning and torrential rain, the drive back home was interesting to say the least

All day it has looked 'oppresive' and very cloudy and we were expecting the worst.  Nothing.  We haven't had any of the rain, apart from a few spits and spots.  No thunder storms or anything. Oh well tomorrow is another day and all hell will probably be let loose.  (I hope not but I wouldn't put it past  the weather).

It's warm, about 20ºC, but dull and the fog is just lifting now. Rain and thunder forecast for later but we'll see! I got trapped in the greenhouse yesterday by a sudden heavy shower but it didn't last long, maybe 3mm rain in total yesterday.

It's 22C sunless here and very close/humid - thunderstorms are forecast, but no rain or rumbles so far..

Come on, I'm fed up with watering

We had thunder storms and heavy rain late afternoon yesterday.  I got soaked just running to the car to go to work and again running from the car to the shop 

Today is sunny so far, but still feels humid.

Had a brief thunderstorm early yesterday evening which brought a brief burst of spectacularly heavy rain, but only for a few minutes (5mm.)

It's taken until now for the mist to lift today, and it's still quite cloudy.

Lots of thunderstorms showing up on the radar, mainly for the home counties and Cornwall - some quite fast moving, some almost static - weird!

Time will tell whether they get this far north...

Thunderstorms in my village but they never passed over my allotment three miles away. Allotment is still parched. I've never known a three month period with such little rain since I have lived here.

We had rain in the night, about 20 minutes worth.  Now really heavy and oppressive - hope more rain is on the way.

Heavy rain woke me up just before 5am, and it's only just beginning to ease up now Woo hoo! no watering today
On the downside, it looks as if I will have to do some housework

Same here, was woken up first thing by the heavy rain, still raining now. The allotment has had the drenching it needed thankfully.
