Rain at last here! Only the second time since lockdown began that we've had any more than a few drops. Ground was very badly needing this. Supposed to be another heavy spell tonight too.

Hot day today like everyone else, but it was really foggy first thing. View out of the bedroom window at 7am.

Yesterday was hot with strong sunshine. Today started damp from a little rain overnight and promises another sunny day. Slight problem last night - I'm bright red and painfully glowing in places!

It's not full cloud cover, but looks like rain on the way.. forecast was for a thunderstorm this afternoon, but the BBC forecast has removed that now (still showing on the MetO one  ) We could do with a downpour tbh

We had about half an inch of rain overnight - which is fantastic. The grass looks greener already! It's very grey - a featureless sky and only about 11ºC but the strong winds make it feel like we're in mid-winter!
