We've got grey skies with occasional showers but even more rain is forecasted for later this week.

Persisting down with a gusty wind and temp about 6C. Dogs are at my feet pestering to be taken round the marsh which passes for our field. Hey ho, wellies and waterproofs on and a brief visit to see our Shetland pony who shuns a nice dry stable and much prefers lying in the mud sheltered by the hedge

It is cold 5C, due to get colder -3, raining and due to stay raining.

Your (looking at everyone) stinking cold has made it up here and I'm far from impressed. Or a box of tissues.

Wet, windy and cold again but the good news is that the huge band of rain is moving west and the afternoon should be dry at least. According to my radio water gauge and thermometer we've had 48mm of rain in 24 hours and it's 20.4ºC. Actually about 3ºC but I can believe the rain figure as nearby Capel Curig had 54mm in that period.

John,That is a lot of water    Here it is 9 dropping to 4c, feels like 5 to 0c.   Wind gusting around 50, heavy rain all day.   Again !

Wet and gusty. The Severn is still high at the moment and we've got plenty more of John's Welsh water on the way it would seem.
