Noisy wind last night kept me awake. Checked the greenhouses this morning and all is well

Sunny at the moment, but cloud bubbling up for this afternoon.   9c dropping to 2c winds NW 18mph, but I think it is more than that up here on the top.

After 60 - 70mph winds yesterday and throughout the night we woke up to a perfectly still day.  Some clouds and a little rain shower have now ventured in to spoil it a little, but a welcome bit of sunshine is trying to poke its head above the hills.

It was not so cold last night, it's 4C now but still grey and damp - so why does the forecast show 6C and sunny?

Weather man on the radio said storm Ciara is due this weekend. So everyone, have your cups, sugar and teabags ready to stay out of it's way.

Today however it is frosty, mild with a high of 8C, slight breeze and sunny.

Lovely start - sunny with light blue skies, very calm but chilly out there - maybe a degree above zero. Not looking forward to the weekend when Ciara arrives. Must double check greenhouses today.

Same here mumofstig, not a cloud in the sky lovely to see the sun makes one feel better

Same here as well, lovely sunshine,  there was a frost, but it is now melting.     I keep checking the Met weather for my area, and there is no mention of the forecast storm.

Stayed sunny all day and reached 10 in the garden by lunchtime, but was a lovely 24C in the big greenhouse, so had lunch and read my book in there for a while  Then I did some tidying up in the small greenhouse made more room on the bench for the sweet peas which were germinated indoors because of the meeces
