I put these   Garlic
in last year tips looking a bit yellow

I would give them a feed.  For me that would be pelleted chicken manure to replace the nitrogen washed out of the soil over winter, but you could use any general fertiliser if you don't have these.

It is nothing serious and they will green up and grow once fed

Do you need to work the pellets into the soil, or just sprinkle about?

Best to hoe them in a bit for the best and quickest results, especially when there's not much rain about.

Thanks, I'll use a small fork, only got about 1 m2
I almost watered them at the weekend, I can't believe how dry everything is.
