When I got my new greenhouse I gave away a seed tray holder as I was given a nicer one - regretting that now.🙄so have spent the morning rearranging seed trays and pots.  Also took down my net curtain that I had put for shade as it’s not so sunny over the next couple of days.  Tomatoes going well, peppers going along at their own pace.  Took the plunge today and planted dwarf French beans (Boston) and climbing french bean - mixed colours.  I think I will wait till next week to plant more stuff like courgettes and cucumbers etc.
Wash your hands, stay at home, distance yourself

Potted on the toms and the few lettuce that eventually germinated.  I can't find my cuke seeds though  :(

I've been reorganising the seed trays to hopefully make more room  ::) plus digging over the border in the Norfolk greenhouse. Hopefully I'll get some toms and peppers in there tomorrow, can't see any nasty cold nights in the next few weeks forecasts, and they can't wait much longer   :nowink:

Cucumber anyone?

Potted on chillis and peppers today.  I have put my tomatoes in their grow bags and put 11 in the poly tunnel at the allotment last week.. Going away soon so I wanted them out of the green house.  Beans are up and courgettes are just popping up too.  Planted some squash seeds this week and put them in a propagator in the greenhouse. Also took delivery of 20 Cambridge favourite bare root strawberries so potted them and settled them down to grow for next year.  Busy greenhouse at the moment, wish it warm up a bit though and be a bit drier.

Cleared the borders again - lots of toms germinated from dropped fruit. Put the strings up and water bottles in ready to plant out tomorrow after a soaking with the hose.

Potted up chitted White Lady runners and Gigandes beans.
Split up and potted on some of the squash/courgettes where both seeds had grown

27 tomatoes planted out in the tunnel, some tagettes & English marigolds to bring in pollinators & deter white fly. Also some Kelsae onion seedlings that my SIL brought me yesterday, hubby began to sort the water butts to help with the watering in the tunnel.
Greenhouse, pricked out what seemed like hundreds of basil seedlings. Sowed some ying yang, borlotti & lazy housewife climbing french beans.

27 tomatoes planted out in the tunnel

:nowink: You'll be making sauce for England

I planted out 5 Sungold and 5 Shirley. They've come on dramatically in the last few days. Although the cukes have continued their natural habit of keeling over for no obvious reason.

Hi Lardman, I had got lots more but decided not to cram them in ! Lol  I grew about 14 varieties & potted on 6 of each for me before attempting to pass the others on, (267 in total!!) so now I’ve got more but bigger to get rid of.

 tomato seedlings really are the courgettes of seedlings  :nowink: Do your friends now run and hide when they see you carrying pots.

Lol something like that, I put them on a freebie Facebook site & had about a dozen messages in 20 minutes  I hadn’t thought that through, had to message them all, plus it’s too wild out there to just put them out there

Bottom GH, fully planted now. Cukes , lettuce and Toms. I'm not bothering with the other GH's this year.

Compost day approaches where all the extras I've lovingly nurtured get chucked on the heap.  :nowink: It get's easier each year.

Watered - I do hate this bit, after the planting and before the fruiting as there's nothing to do.

In the tunnel, I earthed up the spuds & at home in the greenhouse I put the strings up for toms & cucumbers & placed them all in the final positions but since I’d already potted them into the pots the other day I had to find other means of attaching the strings to the pots/ plants as opposed to planting the string under the plant
