Roast half leg of lamb, roast potatoes, stuffing, carrots green beans and cabbage.  Bottle of fizzy bubbles to wash it down.

Sausage (frankfurters) jambalaya, assorted scraps of veg included with the cajun spiced  rice.  A good recipe to use up odds and ends you have laying around.

Sorry to hear that MrsPea - You always feel the loss no matter how old they are.

There's a little of the beef left I used for the pie as I have a serious case of CBA it's going with mixed veg and mash later.
