Title: Winter Potatoes in polytunnel
Post by: PIMBO on November 16, 2011, 16:53
I erected a small polytunnel during the summer and would like to grow very early potatoes inside, without heat. Can anyone please advise me of suitable types and when to plant.       Regards

Have a look  here  January (http://alanparkin.webs.com/monthbymonth2009.htm)
but bear in mind that he's growing in a bigger tunnel, so you may like to leave it a bit later.

I have received a Magazine Nov/Dec 2011 from   www.jerseyplantsdirect.com
in which they provide three pages describing  potato sets, their descriptions, cooking qualities, growing seasons etc. I found the information useful but the prices of sets too high for me. This info may be useful to other novices like myself. Regards...PIMBO
