Chicks are 4 weeks old now,and have already started to eat mums layer mash. They have their own feeders of crumb inside and out of coup,but interested to know when do they come of the crumb....thanx

I tend to keep babies on crumbs till they are 6/7 weeks old then transfer them on to growers pellets until they are older and nearer pol.
If you have other birds this will be more tricky unless you keep the youngsters separate :( Broody mums I tend to give the same as babies and I've never had a problem :)
