My daughter has given me an Advent calendar consisting of a length of jute twine, 24 mini clothes pegs and 24 numbered  envelopes which contain seeds. I have pegged the envelopes to the twine which is draped across the chimney breast. I will look forward to opening an envelope every morning to see what delights are therein.
