I'm thinking of getting some comfrey pellets to use as a feed for tomatoes/aubergines/peppers; does it have the right NPK for it, or should I get a "proper" tomato fertilizer?
Also, I can't work out how much I need. I've seen the instructions about "X grams will make Y litres" but I don't really know how many liters I'll need in a season, since it's my first year growing veggies. I have some raised beds, and I expect to grow about 3 tomato plants, 3 peppers and 3 aubergines at the most. Can somebody tell me how to estimate this sort of thing?
Finally, will the comfrey feed be OK for other crops (courgette, salad, spinach, brassicas)?

why not try a cheaper route by making nettle tea? I read somewhere in this forum that nettle tea is slightly less in quality than comfrey tea and we have nettle for free everywhere (pick the leaves in the wild not the whole plants). I am using nettle tea to feed me plants
