Can debris netting by used to form a barrier around my carrots? I have no idea how big or what a carrot root fly looks like

Handsome little beast!

About 8mm lonng and debris netting should be able to keep it out, just be careful of the eyelets.

I've invested in some enviromesh this year, which is similar in mesh size, but lighter and lets more light through.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Can't find the exact spec, but it's multi-weave and is very fine & very strong.

Has anyone using debris netting bothered to close up the eyelets?

Kristen ~
Backing up what DD said
I have used debris netting for brassica's and when I did I stitched up the black eyelet holes. Once the netting has been stretched over my hoops the eyelets holes become quite big (big enough for a cabbage white butterfly to get through)!!!!!
