brussels sprouts

interesting reply Fen i always wonder how much we pay for the stalk something that we can't eat I've only ever bought one  sprouts on the stalk and that was just to try the sprouts

i think buying sprouts on the stalk is a complete waste of money and how people think there any better than picked sprouts or loose sprouts in bags are any better and some people say buying sprouts out the freezer have a much better taste than freshly picked sprouts ?

and then how any people actually eat the top of the brussels sprouts like a cabbage when we had a fruit and veg shop we used to buy bags of those after Christmas to sell i don't think you could get the tops if the sprouts are  mechanical picked?
