Remembered my mantra for this year was to make all my cards so made 1 each for 2 nephews  & the last one is for our daughters birthday on Thursday.

Lovely cards, Snowy.  Do they reflect the musical talents of the recipients ?

Lovely Snowy, just my cup of tea. :) I find making cards therapeutic, preferring the simpler designs like your's, but for car boot sales the blingier the better!

Love those Snowy. So much more special than a mass produced one.

I've got loads of stuff for card making but have only ever done a few & then mainly sewn, but I found it very therapeutic I must say, although it took a lot of clearing up after,as I had to look in lots of boxes & drawers for all the bits

Sorry for got to say thank you for kind words  :)

Great cards Snowy! :)

I'm having a bit of a card-makers block at the moment - just made a 40th anniversary card for my parents (not entirely happy with it) and struggling to make a 1yr old's card!!

I make all my own cards too Snowy.  I know what you mean about the clearing up after though!

Because my craft stuff is now in the refurbed back of the garage.  It is still cold out there, so the other week, I brought all my coloured card and paper in and put it on the dining room table to sort out in colours and thickness.  Brian said a little while afterwards, that my 'stuff' was taking over.

What do you mean I asked him.  Well, he said its all over the dining table now.  I told him I was only sorting it out, then its going back in its right place.  What a pl**ker!

I've just finished cross stitching a birthday card for Baylee.  His birthday isn't until October, but I wanted to get it finished so I can concentrate on the grandkids Christmas cards in plenty of time, but I'm having a mental block there too at the moment.

Love your cards.  People love it don't they when you do something that is personal to them?  Like the one for baylee, its only a simple design, but its 2 little hurricane airplanes as he loves WWII aircraft!

Have you noticed GrannieAnnie that man stuff is never in the way or that the latest essential electrical gadget will have its place in the shed but never sees the light of day or the wood in the loft will one day become the shoe stand .

I don't have that problem with my craft nests, which is what Mr Bee calls them.

When ever he has a strop about my craft mess, I spend the day tidying and he gets no lunch and a bog standard, slung together supper. ::) ::)

That usually works.

I disappear off for a walk when he is in Victor Meldrew mode and having a moan about everyone and everything  including me. The relief in the face when I walk through the door and the speed in which a coffee is made, 'to warm me up', is quite remarkable. :D :D ::)
