Sorry if this has been touched on, but an article I read recently commented on Highgrove`s gardener suggesting similar to the `beer` method, alternatively using a mixture of small amounts of sugar and died yeast with water in pots with the rim at ground level.
 Anyone tried this?

Another vote for Stanley here, mines had years of use at Children's cycling events, fishing, and days walking on the hills.

Ex rugger bug*er here Aidy, and i find Turmeric & Glucosamine tablets help, also walking wearing good trainers seem to keep things better and finally Glucosamine Gel can help.
