I received the email and then went on holiday for a week.  Oh well, I thought, go to Wyevale and have a look to see what was left.  Imagine my surprise when it looked hardly touched!  Got everything I wanted (not needed I don't need any more seeds) and then some.  Sarah Raven multipacks are particularly good value with 6 individual packs inside for £3 now.

I don't need more seeds, I have enough for this year, next year and possibly after that.

I am seed saving and seed swapping.

I don't need more seeds.

Yes, if kept cool and dry - except for parsnips and sweetcorn, which can be a problem after the first year.

Fill your boots

That is true Surbie and I normally do wait for that sale but I find that the more popular varieties of seeds are sold out.
It is a great feeling though when you get them :) :)

Ah, I thought I felt a disturbance in the force.  The seedaholics are getting itchy fingers again and the main culprits are all here I think  ;)

I was in the local garden centre today and did buy a couple of packs at half price.  Just because they were particular varieties that I wanted, so sorted for swede and sweetcorn.

Also grabbed some fennel as there has been a recent thread on it and I'm going to have another go this year.  My record on fennel is variable to say the least  ::)

I'm holding out for the 50p stuff now, but I need to do a seed audit first.  I'm determined not to over buy this year.  Stop sniggering you lot, I am serious  ;)

I went out this morning in the hope I would get shoes and seeds (yes I know strange combo but nevermind, oh and my nearest Wyevale is a bit of a trek).  After removing the 8 packs of golden beetroot, some broadbeans, poppies, microgreens and other things from out of the bottom of the pram put there by my eldest  I came away with.......................................................................................nothing!  :( so I have been on realseeds and cheered myself up

Edit: and what do you mean, you know I have a habit. I like to think I have a healthy appreciation and respect for the diversification and preservation of plant matter. Ok, I am talking cobblers  :tongue2:
