Hi all,
I have looked but can't find, I'm probably not posting this in the right place either 

Is there a topic where members can give a "heads up" to companies that are offering free p&p or similar offers, compost, tools etc.

I often want to buy small quantities of seeds because we only have a small garden.

I go to the usual sites but end up not buying because the p&p makes it too expensive.

I do notice, however that these sites do sometimes have a special "Free p&p" offer irrespective of how much you spend, usually just for seeds, not plants.

Is there a "special offers" forum on this site where we can post anything of interest, or is it all just up to the individual to make a seperate post every time, for every offer?

Would it be an idea to start such a forum, or aren't offers frequent enough to warrent one?

As you say, special offers tend to have quite limited lifespans, so a new thread for each one does the job of bringing it to people's attention without hanging around forever.

We're always happy to consider new ideas though!

Premier Seeds Direct (ebay) are very good, and have a smaller packet range with free postage.  Even when ordering the larger packets you only pay postage for the first item ordered.

I'd imagine there will be a few coming up over Easter with seed companies wanting to get rid of bare-rooted trees and spud stocks.
