Potato leaf pic help
« on: June 11, 2009, 21:46 »
Went to plot tonight and found these black marks on my aron pilot earlies or 2 of the plants. Luckly they are just about ready to harvest but can anyone tell me what the little black spots are please?

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I hope this helps

RHS advice: magnesium deficiency. Apply a foliar spray of 2oz of Epsom salts to a gallon of water and repeat two weeks later.

Just give them a good spray but when the sun is not on them

This is a common known issue known as Spud acne.

It is usually followed by spuds marching into your bedroom demanding a lift and stamping their feet saying

"It's just not fair"
or
"I am soooo bored"

Thx for the advice anyway, I went to grab a few yesterday & noticed the leaves had gone exactly the same as in the pic.

Epsom salts it is then.
