I have to say Igave my Autumn Bliss a drink last week as it had been dry weather and they greened up quite a bit.  They are newly planted canes as well.
9 out of ten shooting.  Got them from crocus.com in a sale.  Planted Nov Dec I think.  I asked Crocus about cutting mine shorter as they were about 18 inches high and they said no as they have already been pruned down ready.  They seem to have been correct. Mine are in pots again pot size as advised by crocus.

Fingers crossed for mine too then - planted 12 Autumn bliss in December, cut them back, only 4 out of 12 shooting, despite mulching with compost, giving them blood fish & bone at planting time and watering and raking in chicken manure since  >:(
Ungrateful so & sos    Can't bear to dig 'em up yet though! Can always get summer fruiting suckers from a friend but quite like me autumn ones

On another thread i said about my raspberry that i thought was dead. I dug it up and it had new white shoots coming from the roots but they hadn't made it to the surface !!!
I quickly replanted it .......oops

I think the cold spring held them back a bit............but they are still alive :)

I have 10 canes of Autum Bliss only 1 shooting, and 10 canes of Glen Prossen and 9 are showing. Planted them in the Autum   :(

Make that the other way around
