Title: Citrus Tree Problem
Post by: DopeyAlex on March 13, 2011, 17:46
Hey all,

Basically, my newly arrived lime tree has some spots on some of its leaves. Also my lemon tree which I got last year has some sort of 'burn' on the top leaves.

Can anyone help me out with this please.

Thanks very much

I've never grown citrus trees so have no direct experience, but my first thoughts about the lime is that it's either virus damage or nutrient deficiency.  That's assuming it's not a variegated variety?

The lemon tree - was the compost quite dry when it arrived?  Was it left outside by the postman on delivery?

Are they kept in very dry conditions?  I would check for the tiny red spider mite.
