Title: Potatoes out of control!
Post by: rich24uk on May 22, 2008, 17:23
I have been growing a main crop of King Edward spuds, and have earthed up twice. However they are continuing to grow at a rate where I am starting to lose control of them!

They are not about 2 feet in height and have only been in the ground for about 4 weeks. I'm not sure what to do with them, the tubers are not visible above the soil but I fear they are gowing too fast.

Would cutting them back help???  :?:

no! they're supposed to grow  :D  Some varieties have really tall foliage and you can support it if you wish. I don't but then I'm a lazy gardener
