I strongly disagree with those 26 so called celebrities why on earth put there ore in when people have there own choices don't they to eat meat or not to eat meat and  yes I eat meat and still intend to carry on eating meat don't  pick on farmers who produce it if  people didn't buy meat then it wouldn't be produced would it?

so people will stop eating turkey at Christmas will they or any other meat for that matter i don't think so because there's already been some talk of a shortage of turkeys for Christmas

what i do believe in is that all animals should be reared in a natural environment like  chickens free range also pigs free range and not caged up we buy from a butcher that has locally reared cattle pigs sheep and chickens including free range eggs

and any farmer not complying with animal welfare should be named and shamed and stopped from keeping stock I'm not sure if there's lethargy to uphold this on the part of DEFRA to enforce this I have my doubts if this happens

having said all that I'm having a lovely lamb stew for lunch with freshly picked veg O" forgot to mention the dumplings

You know that when slebs start waving their arms about, it's the start of the pantomime season, and they're all struggling to get a bit-part...

COP26 will be forgotten in a couple of months anyway, normal citizens will have more important issues to consider.

Apart from Chris P and his ignorant numpty ilks, farmers can't just go ahead and find other ways to produce food for G.d's sake! Apart from why should they in the first place, where's the money coming from to subsidise these farmers in order for them to buy different equipment, land feed etc? IMHO I doubt it'll make a ha'porth of difference anyway to global warming, and as for shoving their own opinions about what we should and shouldn't eat down people's throats, they can chuff off as far as I'm concerned.
