Disinfectant for mud runs - Sorry Newbie Chook keeper again

Is there anything I can use to sprinkle on the ground of the chook run to disinfect it.  It would have to be something that is not harmful to the chooks as I do not have any where else to let them out, & obviously cant keep them shut in.  I try to keep it as clean as possible taking out the droppings as best I can each evening after chook bed time.  Eric & his girls are very happy today in the sun.

Stalosan f is a good powdered disinfectant that is ok for poultry  :)

Old fashioned maybe but it works ! :)

Mind you don't take the head off a chicken when you dig it over, they seem to wait unril the spade is coming down before running in to snatch a nice juicy worm. :D
