Hi just some advice my two chicks have hatched out today would love any help and advice r.e feeding cheers bailz

If they dont eat without help, take them to the chick crumb and tap your fingers in it (mimicking a mother hen pecking) they soon get the idea.  They are often tired with the effort of hatching so dont worry if they dont eat immediately

They will not need anything for first 24 hrs at least, as they absorb yolk sac just before birth. Then they will need chick crumb and water available, from special feeders. With the water its best to have a proper dispenser for them (designed for chick babies), otherwise you need to place stones in a dish, then the water. The idea is to stop them drowning in a dish of water.
