Im bothered about how clear it looks when its being used as i don't want it to look to unsightly. If it looks ok im gona order some ).

I got some scaffold netting from somewhere lol, i think this stuff is the same tho someone else posted on another thread if you go for the blue you might stand out more on the plot as the norm is to use the green.  Ive not had any need to use any yet as we have not had the plot long enough to need it but its there waiting.

Im sure with a nice frame made up so you can tighten it to all the edges and tuck them in nice and tight it will loook fine.

Bitten the bullet today and bought some from Ebay @ £43 3mx50m in green

I saw a company called Tildenet on the tinterweb and was going to order theirs. It showed @£30 (including VAT@15%)+ £10 postage charge. Ooo only £40 I thought
....at first
when I finally got to the checkout it ended up being £46! VAT @ 15% wasnt added at all and the postal charge was £11.50
Anyway, closed the page and went to Ebay to spend my hard-earned.

Guess what company ended up selling me netting on Ebay?...you guessed right! Tildnet! (It didnt show in the info until I paid)

I might be new to this myself, but I gather you need to cover any brassicas otherwise you may as well not grow them! I guess it might be a good idea to cover any young seedling too, sure a bird would eat one regardless of what it was!

I lost every brassica apart from 2 cabbages last year, netting required...no doubt about it

But now my bank account feels empty  (whats new!) It is essential though,so got to be done

The cabbage white butterflies will lay loads of eggs on them and the caterpillars when they hatch will eat all your greens
Some people just look every day and squash the eggs, but if you miss any you're in trouble
