some of my potato plants have had there stems snapped in the recent downpours and winds. Ive no idea what i should be doing with them now. Theyre a mixture of 2nd earlies and mains and flowers were just satrting to open on the 2nd earlies.

HELP PLEASE

I'd leave them be. Just pick up any that have snapped all the way off.

Thi happened to me too - but all mine in pots / bags and all first / second earlies.  I'm hoping they're far enough on that the harvest wont be damaged too much.  blooming British summer!  I'm just leaving mine too, hopefully some growth will come back as I cant find much growing in the soil yet (although the greenery and flowering has been realy impressive this year).

ok guys thanks for the info, will leave them alone and see what happens. None have snapped off completely so maybe they will be ok.
