Strawberry Runners

Well I've had my strawberry plants for about 4 year now and even though they are still going strong I thought it best to root some runners. What I wanted to know was how long do they take to root so they can be cut from them plant please? I've had some for a few weeks but scared to check in case I disturb them  :unsure:

If they have been there for a few weeks Misty, they've probably taken root by now, so hopefully you should be Ok to cut the runner . $ - 6 weeks is normally ample time for them to take root

I was really surprised at how quickly mine rooted, i think they were done in about 2 weeks, the runner suddenly looked like a plant so i gave a gently tug and its stuck so i cut them away, removed the wire staple and they are fine.
