They are colour coded with paint marked on them. The code is on the label.

Got mine today - they seemed to have plenty left still! I got three different packs so a varitey  - 2 types of goosegogs, 2 of rasps, the tayberry, 2 blackcurrants and a redcurrant (there must be another but I can't remember what!)  ::)
Plenty of new shoots on them - I've dumped them in the shed for now! Just need this snow to go so I can get onto the lottie!  :)

I popped some Lidl ones in last year - but i'm worried they died off with the cold/snow. How big on average are they? Anyone got any photos?

Mine are about 15 inches long with a decent amount of roots on them. Some have more than one stem (though most are single stems).

Some are starting to sprout so will need a bit of looking after till things warm up a bit, will be planting mine in pots for the time being.

Sorry - no piccies!!

I put mine in the shed.  But I suppose to plant in pot and keep them inside the house or green house is also a good idea.  Actually, I might do that tomorrow.

Don't know if any one else has seen/bought them, but Lidl are selling fruit trees (cherry; bramley apple; coxes orange pippin; pear - comice; victoria plum and a few more I think) for £3.99 each.  They stand approximately 5ft and look really healthy :)  I have bought four - two for the allotment and two for our garden.  All I have to do now is talk my better half in to cutting down a large conifer in the back garden to make room for the fruit trees.  Wish me luck ::)

Aldi fruit bushes - Thursday 5th Feb

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Might be useful to some of you if you have an Aldi handy  I have no idea if they are good quality but they seem worth a gamble

YIPPEEEE!! I have actually managed to get some of these at last!!! Got three packs so have ended up with three different raspberries, a blackberry, a tayberry, two different gooseberries (including a great looking dessert one) a redcurrant and a blackcurrant. Just brilliant. Thye look very healthy, with masses of compost on the roots and some shoots only just appearing, so not been there too long!

Thanks for the tip, yesterday there were still some fruit bushes left at Aldi also the fruit trees at Lidl....couldn't find a Vic Plum though!  I'll plant'em when it gets a bit warmer.

I went to Lidl today and bought a Stella Cherry and a Bramley Apple.  Both looked good quality.  There were quite a lot of both of these and the Coxs (from memory) Eating Apple but I could only see one pear tree.
