I will end up with two varieties of Sweetcorn on my plot, is this advisble? and how far apart should I keep them?  Many Thanks

To avoid cross-pollination, keep different corn cultivars (especially supersweets) 400 or more yards apart, or plant them so they tassel 2 weeks apart.

This is, of course, impossible to achieve on an allotment, where your neighbour may be growing sweetcorn too.

It says 25 feet there and gives the types that will be safe together and those that won't.
