Shed Insurance?

Just about to put up my shed on my new plot.

The issue I have is as this is my first allotment my father in law brought me a nice set of stainless steel tools which I cannot transport from home to the plot each time. As a result they will have to live in the shed on the plot.

Apparently a few shed were broken into recently so this made me wonder if there are any insurance policies for allotment sheds... Alternatively are there any home insurance policies that cover allotment sheds?

Any information on this or the subject of shed security is most welcome.

I'd be interested too.... I guess many of us would.

If there are any insurance companies willing to cover the risk the preniums would be pretty high!

Just googled this one, as I'm a new first time plotter!
You can get insurance at the National Society of Allotment and Lesiure Gardeners Ltd.
nsalg.org.uk but you have to join; �20 per annum.

I found mention of "insurance" but no details at all..... emailed for more info but somehow I'm not expecting to be offered anything that will be either cost effective or suitable.

I think the best insurance is not leave anything in the shed you can't afford to loose.
